An Adaptive Hybrid Control of Grid Tied Inverter for the Reduction of Total Harmonic Distortion and Improvement of Robustness against Grid Impedance Variation

Background: Grid-tied inverters play an efficient role in the integration of renewable energy resources with utility grids. Motivation: However, interconnection between power converters and grid has been seen to be responsible for various stability issues such as weak grid, under conditions injection becomes a challenging task due continuously varying impedance affecting margins result. Additionally, impedance-related boost voltage harmonics which further devalue its performance. These propagate through Phase-Locked Loop (PLL) circuit control unit inverter turn amplifies low order inverter. Method: The aim this research is introduce novel strategy that decreases effect impedance-variations on performance Hence, adaptive hybrid mode technique consisting two parts proposed research. current regulator part implemented synchronous reference frame gain time parameters improve performance, stability, response time. harmonic compensators are stationary compensation purposes. This nature compensator can effectively work case frequency variation where fixed value based fails. Results: by reducing total distortion (THD), reduce computation when distorted voltage, frequency. Impact utility: Our results show system less sensitive variations makes very relevant applications.
